Which of these your plan covers, and at what copay, depends on your individual TRICARE policy.
Godaelli is in-network with TRICARE in Virginia, the plan carried by active-duty service members, retirees, National Guard and Reserve members, and their families. New client appointments are often available the same week — in person across Northern Virginia, or by secure video anywhere in the state. We check your benefits before your first visit so you have an estimate of your cost up front.

Godaelli Psychiatry & Mental Health Center is in-network with TRICARE in Virginia. Over 95% of our clients receive care with only a copay. We check your benefits before your first visit — and we'd ask you to confirm your coverage with your plan too.
Insurer directories are updated on the carrier's schedule, not ours. A practice can be in-network months before its listing appears — or long after a listing has gone stale. If you searched TRICARE's provider finder and didn't find us, that doesn't necessarily mean we can't bill your plan.
Ask us directly instead. Tell us your plan and we'll look into it with TRICARE before you commit to anything.

Which of these your plan covers, and at what copay, depends on your individual TRICARE policy.
A benefits check tells us what TRICARE expects to cover, and that's a good working estimate. It isn't a guarantee of payment — coverage is finally decided when your claim is processed, and occasionally a gap only becomes visible at that point. If a balance remains, we'll bill you for it and talk you through the options:
Confirming your benefits remains your responsibility as the policyholder. We check coverage with TRICARE as a courtesy, but the terms of your plan are between you and your insurer — the member services number on your card is the surest source. See full fees · Uninsured or self-pay clients are entitled to a written Good Faith Estimate before scheduling.
See us in person in Woodbridge, Fredericksburg or Stafford, or by secure video anywhere in Virginia. Your TRICARE coverage applies the same way wherever you're seen.
Still unsure? Call (703) 870-0738 and we'll check your plan while you're on the line.
Yes. Godaelli Psychiatry & Mental Health Center is in-network with TRICARE in Virginia. What you pay — your copay, your deductible, and which services your policy includes — varies from plan to plan. We check your benefits with TRICARE before your first visit and tell you what we're given, and we'd ask you to confirm your own coverage with TRICARE as well.
That depends on your TRICARE plan and region, and the rules for outpatient mental health have changed more than once, so we won't guess at yours. Your regional contractor is the authority, and your primary care manager can tell you what your plan expects. Ask them, tell us what they say, and we'll work with it — call (703) 870-0738 if it would help to talk it through first.
Woodbridge is the closest to both. Stafford and Fredericksburg cover the southern end of the corridor, and every one of our clinicians also sees clients by secure video anywhere in Virginia, which is often simpler around a duty schedule or a deployment cycle.
Possibly. Insurer directories are updated on the carrier's schedule, not ours, and a practice can be in-network before its listing appears or after a listing has gone stale. Not finding us in TRICARE's provider finder doesn't necessarily mean we can't bill your plan. Call (703) 870-0738 or request an appointment and tell us your plan, and we'll look into it with TRICARE before you commit to anything.
For most people it's a copay — over 95% of our clients receive care with only a copay. Your own cost depends on your policy, how much of your deductible you've met, and how TRICARE processes the claim. The benefits check we run beforehand gives you a working estimate, not a guarantee: the final amount is set when your claim is adjudicated, and any balance left after that is billed to you.
Ultimately the policyholder's. We check benefits with TRICARE as a courtesy before your first visit, and we're glad to do it, but the terms of your plan are an agreement between you and TRICARE. Calling the member services number on your card — and asking specifically about outpatient mental health, psychiatry, and telehealth — is the surest way to know what your plan covers.
Many plans cover a video visit on the same terms as an in-person one, but it varies by policy, so telehealth is part of the same benefits check. We provide secure online care throughout Virginia.
We can often get new clients in the same week, and established clients are usually seen sooner. Availability moves with demand and with which provider you're matched to, so the only real answer is a current one — request an appointment or call (703) 870-0738 and we'll tell you what's actually open. Checking your TRICARE benefits happens alongside scheduling, so it doesn't hold up your first visit.
Coverage is decided by your plan, and sometimes that only becomes clear once a claim has been processed. Where a service isn't covered, you can pay privately at our published rates — $250 for an initial medication management visit, $175 for an initial psychotherapy visit, and $150 for most follow-ups — or we can issue a superbill with the billing codes your insurer needs to consider an out-of-network claim. Uninsured and self-pay clients are also entitled to a written Good Faith Estimate before scheduling, under the No Surprises Act.
Tell us your plan and we'll check your coverage with TRICARE before your first visit, so you start with an estimate rather than a guess.
