General Summary
Godaelli Psychiatry and Mental Health Center is growing and we are looking for a creative, mission-driven Intern to join our team. We are on a mission to make compassionate, holistic mental health care accessible to the communities we serve across the DMV.
If you are a storyteller, a community builder, or an aspiring healthcare leader who wants to help destigmatize mental health, we want to meet you. In this non-clinical role, you will be the bridge between our providers and the public. You will help us articulate our message of “care beyond medication” through digital content, community resource building, and operational excellence. This is an opportunity to see how private practices operate while making a tangible impact on patient access.
Key Responsibilities
Community & Digital Storytelling

Content Creation: Draft compassionate, SEO-friendly blog posts and newsletter content that aligns with our holistic philosophy.

Social Media: Translate complex psychiatric concepts into accessible, empowering graphics (Canva) and captions to grow our digital presence.
Resource Coordination & Growth

Network Building: Research and maintain a robust database of local community resources and partners.

Outreach: Act as a liaison to local universities and primary care offices to ensure they have current materials.

Event Support: Assist in organizing webinars and open houses that promote mental wellness.

Provider Support: Assist with non-clinical phone inquiries, data entry, and file organization.
Qualifications

Location: Must reside near Woodbridge, VA for on-site collaboration.

Education: Current Undergraduate student (Communications, Marketing, Psychology, English, or Healthcare Admin).

The “Godaelli” Mindset: Passionate about mental health advocacy and destigmatization.

Skills: Strong writing ability and proficiency in Canva, Social Media platforms, and Microsoft Office. (WordPress/SEO knowledge is a plus).
